When I was a high school student, I went to Kanto Area(In fact, students went to the Kawaguchi Lake in Yamanashi and many places in Tokyo) on my school trip in summer. It seems a little strange to people who lives in Kanto Area to go there as a school trip. But my high school is in Hiroshima, which is about 800 kilometers away from Tokyo, and students in Hiroshima had hardly been there. So it was special for us to go there.
We went there by shinkansen. The first day, we visit Kawaguchi Lake and stayed the night at a hotel near the lake. It was a very beautiful place because when it is sunny, you can see Mt. Fuji from the lake. But it was rainny on our stay there, and we couldn’t see Mt. Fuji. I wanted to see that.
The next day, we went to Odaiba in Tokyo. We visited the Fuji Television and we did shopping. The evening, we went to see a musical, the Lion King. I thought musicals boring before I saw it, but it was very impressing for me. I felt musicals very interesting.
The third day my friends and I went to many places in Tokyo, for example, Ueno, Shibuya, and Asakusa. We had a good time there, but only one problem happened. It was on our way back to the hotel we stayed. We were running because we would be late for the time we would get back. Suddenly, we felt an earth shake. But fortunately, it was not hard, so we didn’t have any injuries. When we got back to the hotel, I heard some classmates would be late because the shake made trains late. I can’t remember whether we were late, but some students got back to the hotel about three hours after we did. They looked tired. This day became an forgetful day for us.
The forth day, we went to play at the Tokyo Disney Land. We had a very happy time there from the open to 8 o’clock p.m. There was no accident like the day before.
The last day, we visited the Diet Building. The building were very big and I thought it something like a castle. After the visit, we went to Tokyo Station and went back to Hiroshima by shinkansen.
I remember it was a very special time and I hope to travel with the friends again.
